So far this trip we have been to;
1) Pinawa (Manitoba, 1 1/2 hours from Winnipeg), 2 weeks
2)Wild-Wise Canoe Camp (Ontario), 3 days
3)In an airplane (Over the Atlantic Ocean), 26+ hours
4) In Chiang Mai (home away from home)
5) Fish Farm, 5 days
6)Karen villages, 10 days
Now we are staying in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The name of our residence is the Juniper Tree, which is a missionary relaxation guest house.
Yes, we think that the missionaries find us a little too rowdy at some times. But we try to tone it down because these missionaries have just come
out of the field and need/like their quiet relaxation by the pool (sorry guys, no more Marco Polo!!). Throughout our stay here we will be travelling to
different villages and areas of Thailand. We've been to Mae Hong Son and soon Mae Sot (by Mae La refugee camp) near the Burmese/Thailand border. We will at all
times try to keep you updated as to where we are and what we are doing. I am not promising anything, but i will do my best. And that is a scouts
honour (although, I have never been in Scouts though...only Brigades).
