This is what happens when every canoe carries a map and no one knows how to read them.

SOD began with a week in the outdoors at Shoal Lake, Ontario. Away from civilization and everything clean and wholesome, it was a bonding experience in every sense of the word.

   
   
Beaver fever took its toll on the mental health of our group. These two were the lucky ones.
   
   

Meet "Bannock Man", the result of limited food options and an intense desire for a team mascot to lead us forth when our leaders failed us.

After Mark realized that it would be impossible for him to re-inscribe the Ten Commandments for us on the Canadian Shield, he untied his boot lace and gave us a diagramed object lesson instead. We were awed and inspired (really!) by this and all the other daily snippets of Godly wisdom.

   
   

The spirit of Laziness is very prevalent in our group. Fortunately for us, we are also very creative and smart.

This makeshift sail was just one of the many, many manifestations of these extroardinary gifts we possess.
