NEW! French Africa Outtatown Discipleship School
FrançaisProgram specifications:
- A new four month discipleship program option that will focus on French language, culture and church ministries
- A one-semester program offered for the first time in the fall of 2011
- Significant opportunities to connect with ministries and geographical locations that lead to understandings of Islam
- Successful completion of the program will lead to 9 university credits along with the possibility of an additional 3 credit intensive after the program is completed
- Qualifies for Canada student loans if you plan to continue studies at CMU for 2nd semester
Group of approximately 15 students and 2-3 leaders
Requirements to enrol:
- Applicants must have a completed high-school diploma.
- Course work or life experience/immersion in the French language
- Ability to participate in a fully French/English bi-lingual program.
University credits: (Total – 9 possible credits during the program)
- Christian discipleship and faith formation – 3 credits
- French or English language studies – 3 credits
- Cross-cultural communication – 3 credits
- *Independent study – 3 credits (additional research required upon completion)
Approximate cost: $5,800 plus flights ~ $2100 = $7,900 CAD
